We believe beauty is a feeling. We believe happiness and confidence must come from within but we also believe that a great pair of shoes or earrings feels really good too. Your environment effects you- your home, your car, your friends, your partner, your clothes. How do you want to feel? How do those things make you feel?

There are periods in our life when style is the last priority-and that’s ok. Our style also changes over the years. What you wore in your 20’s you might not like in your 40’s. You have the right to change your style whenever you want, how cool is that?

It became apparent to us that after having kids (being pregnant and postpartum back to back–basically a total of 4 years) that our style had changed. Maybe you have experienced something like this style transition at a point in your life. Maybe you are looking for a revamp now.

Clearing out closets clears our energy. This we know for sure!

Here’s 5 things we did to start fresh:

  1. Give away clothes that you don’t like anymore: Make sure you are in the right mood when you’re giving clothes away. The less attached you are feeling the better ;)
  2. Shop for basic timeless pieces: Think earth tones, black and white. Own a few pairs of jeans that make you feel great.
  3. The little things are the big things: Accessories can completely change an outfit- they can dress them up or down
  4. Give it away. Seriously: That thing you held onto after the first round of giveaways because maybe you’ll wear it. Have you worn it in the last 6 months? If the answer is no, give.it.away!
