Bib Pick Up
Race Bib Pick-Up Information
Every participant is required to pick up their race bib prior to the event. If you are unable to pick it up yourself, a friend or family member may do so on your behalf. You will find your bib number based on the bib assignment provided to you.
We offer three convenient options for bib pick-up—choose the one that best suits your schedule:
Option 1: In-Person Bib Pick-Up (Complimentary)
- Sunday, May 4, 2025 – REI Sunnyvale, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Wednesday, May 7, 2025 – REI Santa Cruz, 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM (Locals’ Night)
- Friday, May 9, 2025 – REI Santa Cruz, 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Option 2: Bib Shipping ($10 Fee)
If you’re unable to attend any of the in-person pick-up times and don’t have someone to collect it for you, we recommend opting for bib shipping for a $10 fee. This can be added during registration or purchased separately.
Option 3: Race Day Pick-Up ($10 Convenience Fee)
If you miss both the in-person pick-ups and shipping deadline, you may collect your bib on race morning at our tent near the start line. A $10 convenience fee will be charged on-site for this service.

Where to Stay Race Weekend
Our 3 recommendations of places to stay for She.is.beautiful:
- Chaminade Resort: You can receive 30% off at Chaminade on the Friday and Saturday of the race (race day is Saturday morning, May 10th). We love Chaminade and highly recommend staying here.
The reservation code is RUN (831-475-5600 or 1-800-283-6569) OR here is the reservation link -registration link here.
Chaminade is located about 10 minutes from the start (if no traffic). It’s secluded in the Santa Cruz hills, there’s access to beautiful walking, running, and hiking trails, they have an onsite restaurant with great views, there’s a pool, hot tub, fire pits, spa and more!
2. Marriot Courtyard in Santa Cruz ( 2 miles from the start line) This location is ideal for walking or jogging to the start line. This new hotel is located near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. We don’t recommend walking around this area late at night but it is a safe and beautiful hotel.
3. If you are coming with a large group you may want to look into renting a house on VRBO or airbnb.
Finisher Shirt Size Charts
We’re excited to let our participant choose their race shirt option this year (how cool is that?!). You can choose:
V-Neck T-Shirt, Tank Top, OR No Shirt.

FAQ's
What day and time is the race?
Race morning is Saturday, May 10 2025. Both the 5k and 10k start at 8:30am.
If I’m doing the 5k and my friend is doing the 10k will we start together? Yes, the 5k and 10k start together and finish in the same place.

Where is the start line located?
The start line is located on Bay Street Near Lighthouse Ave.
Where do I park race morning?
You can park in the neighborhood near the start line if it’s available (please note Bay Street will be closed starting at Bay and California intersection). We also suggest parking at the main Santa Cruz Boardwalk lot (across from the arcade) on the corner of Beach St. and Cliff St. Be sure to get a discounted parking ticket from us ( a volunteer will be located at the entrance to the lot before the race).
Because the start line is only a half mile from the Boardwalk parking lot, there will be no shuttles running before the race (this is too short of a distance to have a shuttle). From the Boardwalk parking lot you can walk to the start line on Bay Street and Lighthouse Ave (near the Dream Inn).

Competitive Start
Our competitive start at 8:15am is for participants that are looking to run a specific time and don’t want to be hindered by running in a larger group. The competitive start is for runners only. In being in this front wave, you will miss the warm up and fun vibe of the start line but you will have a more clear road way to achieve your time goal.
Shuttle Info
There is not pre-race shuttle. The parking lot on the corner of Beach Street and Cliff Street across the street from the Santa Cruz Bowling Alley and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, is where we suggest parking. Grab a discounted parking ticket from one of our volunteers at the entrace to the lot to save on parking fee.
There is no pre-race shuttle because this parking lot listed above is only half a mile to the start line (this is too short to shuttle people). Enjoy the beautiful scenic walk!
The start line is at Bay Street and Lighthouse Avenue.
We will have a post-race shuttle that will take you back to this Beach Street parking lot. Post-Race Shuttle Runs from 9:30-11:30am: On National Street near Pelton Ave. It will drop you off at the Beach and Cliff Street parking lot.
The finish festival is 2 miles from the Beach and Cliff Street parking lot. If you would like to walk or jog along the coast as a cool down instead of taking the shuttles, this is an option too.
