Everyone talks about the power of a morning routine. It’s true, if you can set yourself up mentally for an epic day, when challenges happen you are in a better place to handle them then when you run out of the house feeling frazzled. I think we can all agree on that right?
We’ve experienced the power of writing down goals, creating a morning routine that inspires us to crush the day, and believe in bringing intention to the forefront of our brain at the beginning of the day. With that said, in different chapters of our life “morning routines” look different. Maybe you already have one you love, maybe you are looking for inspiration, or maybe you have a 4 month old and are just trying to survive so the idea of a morning routine feels like too much right now?
Here’s a basic SIB Morning Routine that we hope brings you inspiration:
Wake up in time to have 20 minutes to yourself. Rinse you face with cold water. Make tea, have a glass or water, or start your coffee.
5-10 Minute Meditation: during this time use your phone set it for a 5 minute alarm. Close your eyes and repeat to yourself all the things you are grateful for. Use “you attract what you think about” as your inspiration for your positive thoughts. If this feels a little too “woo-woo” for you and you want some guidance no worries- try a mediation app like Headspace.
Take 5 minutes to write about 3 positive I AM statements and 3 things you want to get done today.
And jump into your day. Go on with your EPIC SELF. We hope this entry leaves you feeling inspired and grounded to get after your day!
