The race starts at 8:30am but we recommend getting to the starting line by 7:30am!
On race morning you will want to have your bib number pinned to the front of your shirt and make sure it’s visible so that our course photographers can identify you so you can get your free race photos.
We are excited about the addition of the Dignity Health Human Kindness mile within this year’s course featuring inspirational compassion quotes and HOKA ONE ONE is sponsoring a timed 1/2 mile at the end of both the 5k and 10k (learn more about the 1/2 Mile here).
When you cross the finish line you will receive your super cute finishers shirt and have access to our finisher festival with some our favorite global brands and local companies. Bring the family! Fit4Mom Santa Cruz will be hosting a Kids Zone, Whole Foods Market will have a refuel station, natural beauty area, and stretch zone, Because Shoe Charms, Merchandise, Post race Yoga by Luma Yoga and Family Center, Three Twins Ice Cream Truck, Verve Coffee, Luna Bar, Fleet Feet Aptos, and more!

Course Maps

Both the 5k and 10k races start together. As demonstrated below, they follow the same course until a little after 2 miles on Fair Avenue when the 5k participants go left on West Cliff Drive towards the finish line and the 10k participants go right towards Natural Bridges.

The 5k and the 10k have the same finish line located about 100 yards from the post race festival that takes place on the lawn in front of the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum.

Both the courses and the post race festival have gorgeous views of the Santa Cruz coastline.

We are excited to bring some heat to the finish line this year. Save some energy for the last half mile of your race as you enter the HOKA ONE ONE Half Mile. The last 1/2 mile of both the 5k and 10k courses will be timed separately from your total race time. The women to run the fastest last half mile of the 5k and 10k will win a pair of HOKA ONE ONE shoes and $200 cash.

See map below!
